JOHANNA

GOSSNER

The Tyrolean clarinetist Johanna Gossner was born 1996 in Kitzbühel (AT). Her first musical guidance was led by Christian Egger at the Musikschule Brixental and Max Bauer at the Landeskonservatorium Innsbruck.

 

 

Since 2015 she has been a student at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, studying with Alexander Neubauer.

Master classes by Rupert Fankhauser, Andreas Sundén, Reinhard Wieser, Björn Nyman, Frederik Fors, Johann Hindler and Wenzel Fuchs have added to her musical growth.

 

Johanna is a multi-prize winning clarinetist in solo and chamber music competitons in Europe and Asia. In 2018, Gossner won the Svirél International Music Competition in Slovenia with perfect scores. With her Trio Mosaik, consisting of the Chilean bassoonist Diego Llanos and his brother Hugo Llanos at the piano, they won the "Audience Award" of the Fidelio.Interpretation Chamber Music Competition 2018 and 2019 with the clarinet quintet NA+5, where they also performed as prize winners and scholarship holders at the ORF Radiokulturhaus.

 

With the German start-up orchestra "ensemble reflektor" she has performed in Hamburg and Berlin and with the Austrian opera singer Eva Lind in Salzburg and Munich. Johanna earned herself a place in the 'Ton der Jugend' orchestra in 2017 and is a regular substitute player in various orchestras like Wiener Symphoniker, RSO Wien, Wiener Concert Verein, Bühne Baden and Wiener Staatsoper.

 

Since 2019 Gossner has passionately been working with the ensemble "Windstreich Musikanten"with special dedication to traditional Austrian music.
